How to Install Torrentio on Stremio

Here’s a step-by-step guide to get Torrentio up and running.

Step 1: Install Stremio

1. Go to https://www.stremio.com
2. Download the torrentio stremio client for your platform (Windows, Mac, or Linux)
3. Install and launch the app
4. Sign up using your email or Facebook account

Step 2: Torrentio Configure

Now that you have Stremio installed, it’s time to link it with Torrentio a powerful addon that streams movies and shows via torrent links.

1. Open https://torrentio.strem.fun/configure
2. You’ll see several settings:
   • Providers: Select trusted torrent providers like YTS, EZTV, 1337x, or TPB
   • Sorting: Choose how to sort results—by quality, seeders or file size
   • Foreign Language Filters: Block or allow non-English content
   • Video Quality Filters: Exclude low-quality sources like CAM or Screener
   • Debrid Options: Choose whether to install with or without a debrid provider

You can install Torrentio without a Real-Debrid account but to get cached torrents, higher speeds and more reliable streaming continue to the next step.

Step 3: Set Up Real-Debrid (Optional but Worth It)

1. Visit https://real-debrid.com
2. Sign up for a new account
3. Go to the Premium Offers section and choose a subscription
4. Once you’re subscribed, go to your API Token page https://real-debrid.com/apitoken
5. Copy your API Key

Step 4: Install Torrentio

Once you’ve configured everything:

1. Scroll down and click the Install button
2. Your browser will attempt to open the Stremio app via a custom link (stremio://...)
3. Confirm the installation when prompted in Stremio

If the automatic link doesn’t work:

• Copy the installation URL
• Open Stremio
• Go to Add-ons > Community Addons > + > Paste the URL
• Click Install

Step 4: Manual Addon Installation (If Auto Doesn’t Work)

If Stremio doesn’t open automatically:

1. Copy the generated URL (looks like: stremio://...)
2. Open the Stremio app
3. Go to Add-ons > Community Addons > + > Paste the URL
4. Hit Install

Step 5: Confirm Torrentio is Installed

To make sure everything’s working:

1. Open Stremio
2. Click the puzzle piece icon in the top right (Show All Addons)
3. Go to My Addons
4. Scroll to confirm that Torrentio is listed

Step 6: Start Streaming

You’re ready to roll. To test it out:

1. Click Discover from the sidebar
2. Select any Movie or TV Show
3. Click Show
4. Under sources, look for something like: [RB+] Torrentio – 1080p / 4K / HEVC
